How to enable Geotagging? ( Android 10 or Higher )

Solution
To enable geotagging
Android 11 or higher
- Find and tap Settings → Location.
- Tap the Use location slider to enable or disable location services.
- Tap App access to location / App-level permissions.
- Find and Tap Camera/ Photography Pro
Note: In the premium model of the following products, the Camera app function has been merged to Photography Pro basic mode.
(Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III, Xperia PRO-I, Xperia 1 IV, Xperia 5 IV, Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 V). - Select the desired option to enable geotagging in the photos.
Android 10
- Find and tap Settings → Location.
- Tap the Use location slider to enable or disable location services.
- Tap App-level Permissions.
- Find and Tap Camera.
- Select Allow all the time to enable geotagging in the photos.
Note: The Place function including the functionality to add or edit a geotag from the Album app has been removed in Album app version 9.6 for devices on Android 9 (Pie) or Higher.
