Xperia 1 VI Product Video Text Transcript

This short video follows a group of four friends on a road trip and camp, as they capture their adventure using a range of Xperia 1 VI features.

Under an energetic pop music soundtrack, the video opens with the friends boarding a van and capturing several selfies from the driver’s seat before they take off, with the caption “Front camera”.

We then follow the friends as they drive to their destination, with the woman in the passenger seat capturing their trip using the Xperia 1 VI video features. A simple camera interface, with zoom and record controls, is overlaid as she captures images inside and outside the vehicle with the caption “New camera app”.

Sample images from the various camera zoom levels are shown, including the main wide 24 mm focal length, the 16 mm ultra-wide, and the 48 mm focal length.

The friend’s first stop is a waterfall, which they reach by climbing over a large fallen tree. The driver uses the smooth 85-170 mm optical zoom to capture images of his friends, in and out of the water, and further sample images demonstrate 48 mm, 85 mm and 170 mm portraits with the caption “85-170 mm optical telephoto lens”. Video features like “Cinematic Slow-motion” capture and the “S-Cinetone for mobile” are demonstrated and captioned, as the woman splashes water around the camera.

The van continues its journey and the friends arrive at a lake where they capture more photographs, demonstrating an 85 mm portrait and the Eye AF which precisely tracks one of the friends as they are recorded unpacking the van, with the caption “Always in focus – Object tracking and Eye auto focus”.

We view the friends erect their tents through the screen of the Xperia, held in portrait mode, with the caption “Creative Look”, as the photographer selects various characteristic looks, and a series of sample images are shown.

As the afternoon sun shines through the trees, we cut to the driver watching a video on Xperia 1 VI, listening using Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones connected to the wired 3.5 mm audio jack. A shot over his shoulder reveals he is playing a game, with the caption “Sunlight Vision”. A caption then reads “Superior audio quality” as we return to a close-up shot of the driver wearing his headphones.

One of the other friends is playing a game, with the caption “Touch adjustment for precise gaming”.

We then return to the camp again as the friends all work together to prepare a meal and build a small campfire to cook on. Several shots and videos are captured, and the “Telephoto macro” mode is also demonstrated through the screen of the Xperia 1 VI cutting slices of lime.

As dusk falls, the friends finish cooking around the fire, capturing videos using the Xperia 1 VI's low-light capability. Photo samples are shown with the logo “Exmor T for mobile”, a sensor that can capture more light than other sensors.

The Xperia 1 VI´s Full-stage stereo speakers are used for music playback as the friends laugh and dance around the dimming campfire.

As the party winds down, we see the driver scrolling through images of the day with the caption “Two-day battery”, then the friends retreat to their tents for the night.

The video cuts to a montage of still and video images captured on their trip with the Xperia 1 VI, ending with a close-up shot of the Xperia’s rear panel, the product tagline “Zoom into wonder.”, and the Xperia and Sony animated logos.”
