Xperia 1 V
Next-gen sensor. Next-gen imaging.
A black liquid appears, a black square slowly emerges from it, and more squares emerge from the black liquid. The image zooms out and shows a black surface with squares as texture and slowly reveals the SONY logo.
Suddenly the images zoom out and the Xperia 1 V appears, showing its back. In another fast movement, the image of the corner of the smartphone appears along with V-shaped grooves carved into the phone’s metal frame to maximize the grip. The image slides through the frame to show a dedicated camera Shutter button to use the camera.
The image changes to the back of the device. The lenses float in the air and assemble into the camera module to show the ZEISS logo on top, below the 16mm lens, then the voice priority microphone and flash below, then the 24mm as the middle lens, and at the bottom, the true optical zoom 85 – 125mm. Engraved on the camera module is the ZEISS T* Coating mark.
The video zoom inside the 24mm lenses until it reaches the new sensor. A title reads “Innovative 2-layer Transistor Pixel technology” and the Exmor T for mobile sensor logo. Rays of light fall into the sensor and the image zooms inside it to show the photodiodes increasing in size, with the title “Capture more light than ever”. The image zooms back out to a single sensor pixel, which multiplies, forming the sensor itself.
The video moves from the sensor image to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. A module of the circuit board lights up and lights go through the wires of the circuit board until it reaches the speaker which is emitting powerful soundwaves under the title “Transcendent dynamic sound”.
The image zooms out on the device´s back, this time it´s transparent to show the 5000mAh battery. The Xperia 1 V returns to its original form and a water drop splashes into its back with the title “Water Resistant”.
The video cuts to another angle of the back, this time a pair of headphones is together with the Xperia 1 V and the headphone cable connects into the “3.5mm audio jack” of the smartphone.
Now we see the Xperia 1 V front in the horizontal position, the image of an aurora borealis on its screen and the title “21:9 4K HDR 120Hz display”.
The video shows the device in a vertical position and the glass from the front and black dissemble from the smartphone to show the Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and the back. The smartphone disappears from the screen and only the front Corning® Gorilla Glass® Victus® 2 and some parts are shown, the lettering indicates “Ecology conscious materials”.
The video shows the corner of the device and the details of the texturized back and frame, in a fast movement, the image shows the corner of three smartphones in different colours, the image changes to show the back of them, Black on the top, Khaki Green in the middle and Platinum Silver at the bottom.
The image slowly fades to black with light bubbles popping up, the bubbles move rapidly and form the name Xperia 1 V. The smartphone’s image in its three colours slides from the right side of the display.
The video ends with the SONY logo.
